Hi Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Sue and I live with my lovely husband who I will call Mr V and our nine year old daughter Miss V in a small town in South Devon. Everyone who lives here talks about it as The Village so that will be my blog name- Vintage fron the Village Also in our family are two cats, two guinea pigs some tropical fish and a pond with goldfish I have always loved making things and love pretty vintage things which I hope to sell as well to fund my passion! I am addicted to buying fabric, ribbons, buttons, wool etc and love to visit charity shops and car boot sales.I love glasses of wine, gardening, crochet (easy stuff!) and I am a big E-Bay fan ! I also love to read other people's blogs which inspired me to start my own. I look foward to hearing from you Best wishes Sue

Just a quick one !

Hi All
Just a quick one to say thanks for all your lovely best wishes for Miss V and the chicken pox. (sorry I havn't had chance to reply to them)
Not a good day yesterday but dosed up with Calpol, Piriton and plastered in Calomine lotion she slept quite well and much brighter today.
Anyway my Ebay parcels were piling up so she helped me sort those out and my sister held the fort for 20 mins while I dashed to the post office so I feel a bit more organised now.
Apart from - massive ironing pile, loos etc to clean, BBQ rack still to wash from Sunday :(  etc
I'm looking foward to Junior Apprentice tonight where I think they are making cup cakes - should be good.
Back soon I hope
Sue x

  1. So glad to hear Miss V is feeling brighter today. Harry, my husband had shingles recently and he really suffered so I understand a little what she must be going through. Btw have sent you an email

  2. Chickenpox ain't much fun, poor kid!
I'm looking forward to Junior Apprentice too, it's the highlight of my Wednesdays.
By the way, I've awarded you a blog award. Please stop by my blog to pick it up:)
