Hi Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Sue and I live with my lovely husband who I will call Mr V and our nine year old daughter Miss V in a small town in South Devon. Everyone who lives here talks about it as The Village so that will be my blog name- Vintage fron the Village Also in our family are two cats, two guinea pigs some tropical fish and a pond with goldfish I have always loved making things and love pretty vintage things which I hope to sell as well to fund my passion! I am addicted to buying fabric, ribbons, buttons, wool etc and love to visit charity shops and car boot sales.I love glasses of wine, gardening, crochet (easy stuff!) and I am a big E-Bay fan ! I also love to read other people's blogs which inspired me to start my own. I look foward to hearing from you Best wishes Sue

' Tray' chic !

Hello again, nearly the middle of the week already !

Only one week and a bit until Miss V breaks up for summer hols, she has had 'meet the teacher ' today and all seems fine thank goodness.

I have been posting crochet patterns out all over the place including two to Australia so they have nearly all gone now

I have just listed a few more things on Ebay before I start on the knitting pattern pile.

I am not sure how to do a link to my Ebay (do get in touch if you can shed any light on that one?!)  anyway I am Stirfry148

Also talking of links, I see Gill at Dosie Rosie is doing a great giveaway of a lovely book called Buttons and Beads

I found out yesterday that one of our three local charity shops is to close down next week boo hoo sob  - its the cheapest one as well so thats sad news

It is pouring with rain here and due to do so for the next few days, I hope it dries up for Sunday as I have seen  TWO  car boot sales advertised in 'the village' on the same morning and both are in fields
Oh well I better think about doing some tea I suppose
I am sure I had more to tell you but my mind has gone blank for the moment
Back soon
