Hi Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Sue and I live with my lovely husband who I will call Mr V and our nine year old daughter Miss V in a small town in South Devon. Everyone who lives here talks about it as The Village so that will be my blog name- Vintage fron the Village Also in our family are two cats, two guinea pigs some tropical fish and a pond with goldfish I have always loved making things and love pretty vintage things which I hope to sell as well to fund my passion! I am addicted to buying fabric, ribbons, buttons, wool etc and love to visit charity shops and car boot sales.I love glasses of wine, gardening, crochet (easy stuff!) and I am a big E-Bay fan ! I also love to read other people's blogs which inspired me to start my own. I look foward to hearing from you Best wishes Sue

Hi all

This will be me later, my iron broke and fused the downstairs of the house ! so new one is sat in its box waiting for me to put it to work !
Anyway, here are some things I have made that I have just put in to my Misi shop here

Stack of mini lavender bags  - With Love   £4.50

Stack of mini lavender bags - Thank you Teacher £4.50
A small felt heart   Friend     £2.99
I always do well with the Thank You teacher lavender bags just before the school holidays
but I thought I would show you well in advance !

Its been raining all week here in so called Sunny Devon, our poor chickens look like drowned rats and the lawn is turning in to a sea of mud ! They were ex-battery hens and they came to live with us last May. I hope they have a far happier life now
I took these photos on Sunday when the sun was out
A few of my many pots !
Well I better go and tackle the ironing pile, including the lovely table cloth I told you about the other day.
Back tomorrow hopefully
Sue x

  1. Oh bless them! Mine are getting all broody with the warm spring days, the little madams!
I would love one of those presents from the kids in my class, but they know me too well and just buy wine!!!! LOL xxx

  2. I hide from my ironing at the moment. I am in fear of being buried by it and I don't have the excuse of a broken iron!
    Good Luck
    Jenny x
