Hi All
Here I am again, seems ages since I wrote a post myself but I have been reading others.
Well school breaks up today- I have just done my last MTA shift at the school for the year. I have been offered a slightly more permanent post one to one with a boy with health problems in the new year. It will be a challenge as I have always worked in shops or offices.
Miss V went off this morning with one of my hand made key ringds for her teacher
I hope she likes it !
I have come down with some sort of lurgy, I had lots to do today but havn't done much at all.
I was supposed to be meeting up with my 'Come Dine With Me' friends last night for our annual present swapping but I had to pull out - oh no
I must be ill because I had to go the 'village' yesterday to post the last of my Ebay parcels and I couldn't even face going into the charity shops !!!!!!!!!
Anyway, cards are written at last, most of the presents are wrapped. I still have to make some chutney. I made it last year , the recipe was from last year's Kirsty's home made home and it was really nice.
We are off to the panto in Plymouth on Sunday so looking foward to that - oh yes we are !
I will try and do another post before the big day but if I dont, I wish you all the happiest Christmas ever and thank you so much following by blog.
Love Sue x

Can I do cold turkey?
Well hello again
Hoping everone had a good weekend.
Friday night saw us in the pouring rain watching the switch on of the Ivybridge 'village' Christmas lights. Couldn't believe the rain after weeks of crisp dry weather ! Anyway Miss V was 'marching' with the Brownies so once the grand switch on had happened we grabbed an Indian takeaway and headed home for a bottle of wine !On Saturday it was the school Christmas fair, I was selling raffle tickets.
Wasn't too busy at all as most parents had bought them in advance. Much easier than last year when I was on the cake stall single handedly and it was MANIC !
Even managed to get a few 'vintage' books which I will show you sometime
Anyway back to the cold turkey subject - I have reluctantly started running down my Ebay selling for Christmas. I am itching not to as its a great selling time of year obviously but I am getting behind with everything else so the last items are ending over the next few days.
find my Ebay here if you fancy anything !
Its sooooo hard for me sat here surrounded by stuff.
I have been still MTA at school every day so thats good but another reason I am getting Christmas stress even though I love this time of year.
Must be off to watch Kirsty and Phil's Christmas- not seen the lovely Phil for a while !!
Enjoy your evening

Is it Friday already?
Hi All
We havn't got any snow yet here in South Devon, we are supposedly getting some later this afternoon but I am supposed to be going out to a Come Dine With Me meal and its about 12 miles away. I am a bit concerned. I dont want to pull out really as the hostess will have spent loads on food so I dont want to let her down.
Will have to keep an eye on things.
Have to go in a minute to Miss V's school assembly. They have dressed up today as Victorians.
I was not impressed with it all this morning but when we got there, even the teachers were dressed up and the desks were laid out in rows and working by candle light.
I think they will have a great fun day.
I have been dinner ladying all week again. I'm getting in a bit more of a routine with it now but it makes the day so short the Ebaying is very behind.
I have managed to list a few things that may interest you
Cloth kits and Woman's Weekly printed fabric panels for rag dolls, a green fabric panel and a fab bag making book
find me here (hopefully!)
I better go as assembly in a minute, have a great weekend and keep warm
