Hi Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Sue and I live with my lovely husband who I will call Mr V and our nine year old daughter Miss V in a small town in South Devon. Everyone who lives here talks about it as The Village so that will be my blog name- Vintage fron the Village Also in our family are two cats, two guinea pigs some tropical fish and a pond with goldfish I have always loved making things and love pretty vintage things which I hope to sell as well to fund my passion! I am addicted to buying fabric, ribbons, buttons, wool etc and love to visit charity shops and car boot sales.I love glasses of wine, gardening, crochet (easy stuff!) and I am a big E-Bay fan ! I also love to read other people's blogs which inspired me to start my own. I look foward to hearing from you Best wishes Sue

Dum roll please ........

I was going to pick the winner of my little giveaway yesterday but we took Miss V to a kayack taster session on the spur of the moment and the day just went so fast , she loved it and did ever so well considering she was by far the youngest there and it was freezing cold and the water was very choppy - it was under the Tamar Bridge !
Anyway- Mr V has been  hogging the computer  working at home today so I have only just had a chance to write out the names.
Miss V will pick one before school in the morning
I will be back tomorrow with the winner
See ya
Sue x

  2. Ohoo good luck with your giveaway, *sigh* i wish I had come to you earlier to have gone in the hat ;0) thanks for your lovely comment and good luck. Yes the EOI ribbons are brilliant, I had been searching for the "With Love" one with little hearts for a while, I already had the different EOI "With Love" one, beige stripe, but really wanted that cream one. Have nearly got to the end of the roll, eek, as I like to put ones with the hearts in on my own pretties so am, left with lots of heartless little with love pieces of ribbon. Any suggestions on what I could do with them Xx
