Hello again
Where did half term go ? I could do with another week off on my own to get straight but never mind, we had a good week
Where did we go?
well we went to stay with some friends in Staffordshire and had a lovely afternoon in Stoke on Trent at the Emma Bridgewater factory
The men went off to some aeroplane museum !
We didn't have time for a factory tour but plenty of time for the girls to do some pottery painting and large slices of cake and coffee all served on dotty china in the lovely cafe area whre there was this fantastic cooker, I wish it was mine but sadly no....
They had a lovely factory shop where Mr V said I could choose something for my birthday next month. I havn't unpacked the bag yet so I will show you another time.
I have to look foward to a jug in the classic spot pattern
For mum in laws Birhday I bought a jug and plate in the pink heart pattern and as I spent a certain amount (not mentioned in case Mr V is reading!) there was a free mug thrown in !!
I fancied the oilcoth table covering but it was £25 per metre and as I would need two metres probably I thought I had better not !
What a lovely day, we are looking foward to the parcel arriving with Miss V's plate and cup and saucer
Have a good week

ReplyDeleteOh my god I love that Aga, I could definitely live with it!! I'm sorely tempted to stamp some coloured spots on my fridge freezer as I'm pretty sure the real things will be well out of my price range. Lovely pictures. xx
