Hi Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Sue and I live with my lovely husband who I will call Mr V and our nine year old daughter Miss V in a small town in South Devon. Everyone who lives here talks about it as The Village so that will be my blog name- Vintage fron the Village Also in our family are two cats, two guinea pigs some tropical fish and a pond with goldfish I have always loved making things and love pretty vintage things which I hope to sell as well to fund my passion! I am addicted to buying fabric, ribbons, buttons, wool etc and love to visit charity shops and car boot sales.I love glasses of wine, gardening, crochet (easy stuff!) and I am a big E-Bay fan ! I also love to read other people's blogs which inspired me to start my own. I look foward to hearing from you Best wishes Sue

Ten - how many ?

Hello again,  well Mr V and I have reached our ten year wedding anniversary today !
You may wonder havn't I got better things to be doing than blogging but Mr V has gone to a school governors meeting and Miss V is out playing with a friend so here I am.
We celebrated last weekend with two nights away. The first in Porthleven, a traditional Cornish fishing village. The rain was pouring down ! we stayed at a B&B right by the harbour and chose this lovely little restaurant for our evening meal (see above)
There were some lovely little shops to browse around in the morning. Then we travelled a few miles to Falmouth for the second night
Some beach hut shops
This is where we stayed The Royal Duchy Hotel  our room was the two windows with blue canopies on the left - very posh it was too  we even had the swimming pool to ourselves !

Anyway , back to reality now !
Off to cook tea and get Miss V off to bed before sitting down to The Apprentice with a bottle of Champagne we were given as a present and have been saving
Enjoy your evening
Sue x
