Hi Everyone and Happy New Year !
Sorry I havn't written since before Christmas, the time has just flown. I have been reading plenty of blogs but just not got round to writing one
Anyway - we had a great Christmas, we did have some snow and for a few days it was touch and go whether we would be able to travel up to North Devon for the day for Chritmas lunch. All was fine on the day though and the roads were ok. The winter wonderland scenery on the journey was fantastic. We were treated to a lovely Christmas lunch at a hotel, presents with a drink in the hotel lounge then home by early evening - perfect
We bought a new camera in the sales so I havn't got many photos for this post as am in a bit of a muddle between the two cameras at the moment. The one photo above is myself and Miss V on Wembury beach on Sunday. I had my big scarf over my head to keep the wind off but it was lovely. We took a flask and some cake but the lure of bacon baps from the National Trust cafe on the beach was too great so that was lunch sorted
Sad its all over now, almost two weeks of all being together, lazy mornings with cups of tea in bed everyday and not feeling guilty sitting down for an hour during the day with my crochet and something naughty to eat
All back to school and work today - I am still meal time assistant at the school but now one to one with a boy with health problems.
Will be a learning curve as I was working in an office for 20 + years. Looking foward to it though as regular money, only 2 hours a day so I can still do my beloved Ebay and all the school holidays off - perfect !
Need to stick with it anyway as we have just spoken for a new car ( not brand new but new to us!)
Hoping you all have a brilliant new year
Sue x
