Hi, hope you all had a good weekend
We did, we went up to North Devon to Barnstaple to stay in a caravan for the weekend. Just a cheapy 3 night deal from the newspaper but we have been there for October half term for a few years now and its great.
Here I am doing a bit of crochet ! I am making some scarves for Christmas presents.
We went to Squires fish and chip restaurant - great as usual. That night the rain absolutely hammered on the caravan roof and the next morning we had a big thunderstorm - oh no
We went for a look around the town in the rain and in the evening we went to our favourite chinese restaurant called Fullam
On Sunday the weather was really lovely so we headed for the seaside, first we went to Saunton Sands which has to be one of the best beaches in the country, thenwe drove around the corner to Croyde and had a cup of tea in a really pretty cafe garden at the National Trust place Baggy Point, it was just like being sat in somebody's veg garden
I am still having trouble uploading photos so I will try again in a minute
In the evening we went for a meal with our friends who we go on holiday with - they live miles away in Liverpool so we hardly see them but they happened to be visiting a friend for the weekend so that was great
Moday morning we met up with our friends for a coffee, popped to Mum in Laws then came home
Today its been pouring down so we took Miss V swimming
Anyway back to the blog title- I see Kirstie's Home made programme is back next Tuesday
YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !! cant wait
I am still having trouble with the photos- is it me? I can only seem to get on on each post.
Shame as I have some lovely beachy ones to show you
Have a great rest of half term for those of you who are involved and a big thanks and Hi to my new followers
See ya
Sue x

I am addicted to buying fabric, ribbons, buttons, wool etc and love to visit charity shops and car boot sales.I love glasses of wine, gardening, crochet (easy stuff!) and I am a big E-Bay fan ! I also love to read other people's blogs which inspired me to start my own. I look foward to hearing from you Best wishes Sue
That scarf looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteI'm desperate for a caravan at the moment, I want something more cosy that the tent but when you only have coppers and vans cost thousands it makes it a bit tricky ha ha.
I too have problems with photos these days, I think I must have clicked on something to change it but it is certainly not how it used to be. Anyhow, what I have found is if you click on the load photos bit and then select all the ones you want to appear in your post you can get them to all load in that way, all in one go. I struggle to rearrange the order of them but you can manage it after a while.
Hope that helps but if you find out what it is that we have done to our settings let me know. xxx
I thought I left a comment earlier...sorry Hun! I explained how I have been coping with the same trouble. Anyhow, that scarf looks lovely and is Kirstie really back???? Yippee! x
