The first one had about twenty cars I suppose, didn't buy much apart from a lovely embroidered vintage table cloth - bargain at 50p
The second sale at a nearby location which as far as I know have never held one before only had about four cars. (shame they picked the same morning as the one round the corner)
anyway there was an old lady there with whom I spent £9 !
I forgot to take photos though, I got a bakelite knitting wool holder, a necklace, some cottage embroidered chair backs,a Beswick Beatrix Potter ornament (very slightly cracked but nobody will notice in my cabinet!) and a felted woolly bag.
Mr V and I started collecting the Royal Albert Beatrix Potter figures before Miss V came along when we had time to spend Sundays leisurley wandering around antique fairs with money to spend ! Now I am lucky if I grab an hour at a car boot sale with about tenner to spend and most of that is stock to sell on he he
Anyway, back to the tea cups- today I went on my trip to the post office and my normal routine of the 3 charity shops but as I said previously one of them was closing down and true enough today it was gone sob sob.
I did find this lovely set of two cups and saucers in one shop though
(will be appearing on Ebay st some stage if I can part with them?)
Also found this wall vase the other day
I had a last minute order today for a thank you teacher bookmark so out came the sewing machine and sorted that and also made one for Miss V's teacher and some lavender bags to go to the teacher and teaching assistant.
Today is when I reluctantly have to wind down the Ebaying as our holiday is coming up. I will feel really strange but it will probably do me good to have a break. Lots of items finishing in the next few days to give them chance to be paid for and posted

Love your cups very pretty.
ReplyDeleteHello thanks for visiting. Wasn't the Brucey programme good ? He irritates my kids on Strictly come dancing but I have a soft spot for him after years of the Generation game !
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely finds you have purchased! I am from across the pond--could you tell me what a "Car Boot" sale is? Is it similar to a Yard Sale or Garage Sale, which is what we call them here in the US.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue. Love the hanging vase.
