Hi all
I am pleased to say my comments list and followers have returned ! I dont know what happened but I am thankfull to everyone who got in touch. I was worried about it as was just finding my feet - anyway all ok now
Look at his sweet picture I had for my birthday. A few weeks ago I went to Totnes with my Mum and two sisters and saw this in the lovely shop This n That . We all thought it looked like me when I was little !
So that will be going up somewhere. Mr V always moans that the pictures he had before we got together are all in the loft and mine are all on the walls - surely not ?
What do you think of my really tiny coleus plant? I thought they were what old ladies had covered in dust on their bungalow windowsills (I am quite old with a bit of dust around so getting there !)
Anyway they showed them on Gardener's World last week and I thought they looked quite good - I didn't know they could be grown outside.
It is only a little plug plant so I will pot it up and see what happens - its called something like chocolate lime so that sounds good to me !
Miss V breaks up from school in a few minutes so here goes to the Easter holidays, I will try and blog as much as I can. Have a great weekend everyone
Best wishes and thanks for all the comments
Sue xx

- Hi Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Sue and I live with my lovely husband who I will call Mr V and our nine year old daughter Miss V in a small town in South Devon. Everyone who lives here talks about it as The Village so that will be my blog name- Vintage fron the Village Also in our family are two cats, two guinea pigs some tropical fish and a pond with goldfish I have always loved making things and love pretty vintage things which I hope to sell as well to fund my passion! I am addicted to buying fabric, ribbons, buttons, wool etc and love to visit charity shops and car boot sales.I love glasses of wine, gardening, crochet (easy stuff!) and I am a big E-Bay fan ! I also love to read other people's blogs which inspired me to start my own. I look foward to hearing from you Best wishes Sue

ReplyDeleteHi Sue
ReplyDeleteGlad you like the tags and thank you for following my blog. Your picture is by one of my favourite American children's illustrators Jessie Wilcox Smith. I have lots of her work around my walls including original front covers from Good Housekeeping magazines from the turn of the 20th century that I managed to find when I was last in the States. Her work is just so precious.
