Hi Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Sue and I live with my lovely husband who I will call Mr V and our nine year old daughter Miss V in a small town in South Devon. Everyone who lives here talks about it as The Village so that will be my blog name- Vintage fron the Village Also in our family are two cats, two guinea pigs some tropical fish and a pond with goldfish I have always loved making things and love pretty vintage things which I hope to sell as well to fund my passion! I am addicted to buying fabric,ribbons, buttons,wool etc and love to visit charity shops and car boot sales.I love glasses of wine, gardening, crochet (easy stuff!) and I am a big E-Bay fan ! Hi again

 
Hello again
Just to say Hello
We have just got a new computer and I am trying to get used to it, it has got Windows 8 which is really strange
The Blogger thing has changed slightly since I last used it as well so bear with me. I was hoping I could rotate the photos here but by the look of it I should have done it before I chose them !
 
Anyway back at the end of November, we moved house. Still in 'The Village' but a bigger house with a garage to store all my 'stuff' in. We were without the internet for several weeks for some reason as BT weren't able to set us up until the previous owner's contract with another provider finished for some reason. Luckily I could still look at things on my phone - phew
 
We are still gradually emptying boxes and sorting stuff out, I did clear out a lot before the move but there is more. I am sorting through my rather large collection of fabric and knitting patterns and more vintagy bits will be selling some Have a look at my Ebay here

The snowy picture is of the view last week from my kitchen window. The snow only lasted one day and long gone now. Its not very sunny but its dry so far today and my washing is flapping in the wind !
Well there I did it, am back to blogging. Sorry about the photos, hope they don't make you cross eyed all upside down - I will get there

    Glad you're back again. I've had the same trouble with photos, they were the correct way in 'my photographs', but for some reason blogger thought they were better on their side!
