Hello again
Well only a week and a bit until the school holidays.
I have been quite busy this week doing housework and tidying up - shock horror !
We go on holiday soon so I have been winding down the Ebay and doing other things instead...
Carpet shampooing this morning- very satisfying job once I get around to it. In our house we dont have a hallway that goes through to the kitchen and the back of the house which means all the traffic goes through the lounge - not good with a cream carpet, two cats and lots of kids in and out (J's friends - I only have one )
Anyway it looks better now
Also the big news is .... apart from my meal time assistant job at Miss V's school, as from September I will be a teaching assistant every morning !!
I was very pleased to be offered the job as I have only worked there properly since January.
Its going to be a big change as since I was made redundant (well I volunteered to go but only got basic minimum redundancy pay after 20 years loyal service) I have been working hard selling on Ebay and building up Vintage from the Village
I am going to have a lot less time so I dont know what to do with all my stock which is sat in huge piles around my ears as I write this
Options
A- Spend what free time I get in the school summer holidays clearing it on Ebay
B- Carry on setting up my own Website (but I dont know if I will have enough time to market it to drive enough customers to it
As much as I am looking foward to the school challenge I love my selling so desperate to keep something going
Any suggestions please or your thoughts
I may do a few little give aways as well
With love
Sue x

- Hi Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Sue and I live with my lovely husband who I will call Mr V and our nine year old daughter Miss V in a small town in South Devon. Everyone who lives here talks about it as The Village so that will be my blog name- Vintage fron the Village Also in our family are two cats, two guinea pigs some tropical fish and a pond with goldfish I have always loved making things and love pretty vintage things which I hope to sell as well to fund my passion! I am addicted to buying fabric, ribbons, buttons, wool etc and love to visit charity shops and car boot sales.I love glasses of wine, gardening, crochet (easy stuff!) and I am a big E-Bay fan ! I also love to read other people's blogs which inspired me to start my own. I look foward to hearing from you Best wishes Sue
