Hiya
Well what weather, yesterday was so lovely and sunny and today its terrible wind and rain - oh well it is autumn !
I have been busy getting stock ready for a fair I am doing at Miss V's school tomorrow night.
Got lots of new things to try and I need to sort out what has been stored away since the last time.
Miss V spent ages last night putting Vintage in the Village stickers on my paper bags for me.
She wants to come and help me on the stall tomorrow and no doubt be spending at all the others so I wont make any profit at all !
In the charity shop the other day I 'spotted' this brand new shopping trolley bag for £1.50 !
I think it will be a great help in carting my stock from the car into craft fairs. I have been made to promise I wont use it for shopping !
and I added to my collection of wooden coat hangers with names on - 25p
some little gift bags I made for the fair
and one of my flock of birdy key rings I have made. The ribbon says -
I'm a vintage bird !
Not sure if the school mums will appreciate them but I thought you would !
I have got a day off from dinner ladying today so I had better make the most of the extra time.
Have just collected a fab parcel of ribbon from the post depot so may make a few more bits - will show you soon.
Have a great day

- Hi Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Sue and I live with my lovely husband who I will call Mr V and our nine year old daughter Miss V in a small town in South Devon. Everyone who lives here talks about it as The Village so that will be my blog name- Vintage fron the Village Also in our family are two cats, two guinea pigs some tropical fish and a pond with goldfish I have always loved making things and love pretty vintage things which I hope to sell as well to fund my passion! I am addicted to buying fabric, ribbons, buttons, wool etc and love to visit charity shops and car boot sales.I love glasses of wine, gardening, crochet (easy stuff!) and I am a big E-Bay fan ! I also love to read other people's blogs which inspired me to start my own. I look foward to hearing from you Best wishes Sue

Good luck with the fair! I think the trolley will be very useful to carting things in and out of the fair. I will do the same next time I do an indoor event! xx
