Hi Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Sue and I live with my lovely husband who I will call Mr V and our nine year old daughter Miss V in a small town in South Devon. Everyone who lives here talks about it as The Village so that will be my blog name- Vintage fron the Village Also in our family are two cats, two guinea pigs some tropical fish and a pond with goldfish I have always loved making things and love pretty vintage things which I hope to sell as well to fund my passion! I am addicted to buying fabric,ribbons, buttons,wool etc and love to visit charity shops and car boot sales.I love glasses of wine, gardening, crochet (easy stuff!) and I am a big E-Bay fan ! A vintage giveaway !

Hello again
I think its been over a week since my last post, where is the time going lately ?
Anyway before I went on holiday to the lovely
Isle of Wight

I promised that if I had 50 followers by the time I came back I would do a little giveaway
well I am delighted to say - ta da - I have 54 !!

The giveaway is not one but two Vintage life Nostalgia Magazines

I cant remember how I came across this magazine now but I had a look at their website

and have since ordered 2 magazines and I have enjoyed them very much so I thought I would pass them on to somebody.
Just leave a comment before Sunday 29th August if you would like a chance to win them and Miss V will pick a winner on bank holiday Monday

Talking of Miss V- Mr V has been a star and taken her off to the cinema to see Toy Story 3 so I have a couple of free hours to do some Ebaying.
The knitting and crochet patterns have been going well- thank you if any of you have bought them.
I have just had an email from Ebay saying I have to upgrade my account to a Business Account,
has anyone else been through this and got any tips?

Well I better get on then and make some money to pay for the ridiculous price cinema tickets !

    Hi Sue, I'm going to Bestival with a group of friends, so would like some civilized things in the day! I'm not sure if we're near the beach or not, but it would be nice to know about any "must see" parts of the Isle of Wight!
